I simply love the ease of the Book Fair. I don't have to do anything but set up tables, run it, and take down tables. I really like the organization of how it is laid out and presented. I love the fact that the tax is included in sticker price -- the fair is very easy to manage when you are alone!

Our Story

May 8, 2005

PBC's Birthday! Jade Corn founds and opens Phoenix Book Company, with some off-hours help from his wife, Cori Ashley.

January 2006

Cori took the plunge and joined Jade as co-owner. PBC officially becomes a local mom-and-pop. (As long as businesses and cats count as your kids - we think so!)


Growth and change: PBC begins building relationships with publishers, authors, and major literacy programs like Reading Is Fundamental.

We also began growing our Phoenix-area school network through author visits, literacy program fulfillment, discounted warehouse deals, and more.


PBC begins developing two new divisions: Shelf-Ready Library Processing and Middle/High School Book Fairs.


We officially launch MS/HS Book Fairs and Full Service Shelf-Ready Processing - our first season sees us process over 2500 books!


Our Book Fair division grows to include all grade levels, K-12. Plus, the PBC Processing team now serves over 125 Valley schools - we doubled the number of books processed per season.


We focused on growing and developing our Book Fairs. We expanded by 20-25% each season and launched the PBC Book Fairs website to support our customers. On the Library Services side, we continue to develop our Easy Order Forms and Collection Check services while processing around 10,000 books per season.


Exciting things are brewing here at PBC - we launched a new website, and are beginning the beta test round of a new pop-up style book fair. Join our mailing list below to stay in the loop!
